FatWire to acquire Infostoria for Web 2.0 services

Web content management firm FatWire Software has acquired Infostoria, a content sharing tools services firm.

With the addition of Infostoria, FatWire clients will now be able to create wikis, blogs and content integration to help manage content among their creative teams, as well as provide user generated tools within the projects themselves.

“Our customers were asking for tools to help them collaborate more easily among themselves and with their agencies, as well as tools to let users participate in user generated content on sites,” said Yogesh Gupta, president/CEO of FatWire.

The Infostoria team, composed of a handful of engineers, will move into FatWire’s Mineloa, NY, offices. Dmitri Tcherevik, CEO/founder of Infostoria, will join FatWire as chief technology officer.

According to Gupta, the firms expect to begin integration immediately, with a road map of expectations coming in three weeks.
