Farm Credit Services of Mid-America asked Colle + McVoy, Minneapolis, to handle a new brand awareness campaign.
The agency will use advertising, direct marketing and public relations to promote Farm Credit, Louisville, KY, to critical agricultural audiences.
The Vimarc Group, Louisville, previously handled the account. The agency now is limited to the consumer end of the business, and Colle gains charge of agricultural lending, like creating marketing for loans for starting a crop.
Farm Credit is a $6.8 billion financial lending cooperative offering loans, leases and other financial services to farmers, agricultural businesses and rural dwellers in Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Colle's account-planning experience with CNH Global, another agribusiness client, helped its cause in the review for the Farm Credit account.
Owned 90 percent by Canadian agency conglomerate Maxxcom, 67-year-old Colle is a full-service agency. Its roster includes Winnebago Industries, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Minnesota Office of Tourism, Polaris Industries, Agriliance, Associated Banks, CHS Cooperatives, Pfizer, Jazzercise, Purina, 3M and the Professional Golfers' Association of America.
