In an effort to enable its clients to more accurately predict and manage in-home mail delivery dates, Fairrington Transportation Corp. has formed a strategic partnership with GrayHair Software Inc.
Under the partnership, the companies will merge data from both entities, including logistical data from Fairrington’s consolidation facilities and enhanced OneCode mail piece tracking data from Mount Laurel, NJ-based GrayHair Software.
The data combination will create a holistic reporting solution that will track the progress of all client mailings from start to finish, according to both companies.
Fairrington, Bollingbrook, IL, is the largest independently owned consolidator of mail in the United States, and the only transportation concern offering fully automated co-palletizing operations for the publishing industry.
GrayHair Software will use the new OneCode Confirm service from the U.S. Postal Service to track client’s mail pinpointing delivery milestones.
OneCode Confirm uses the agency’s new four-state barcode that provides customers with information about where their letters or flats are as they travel through the mail stream.
