EZGamer Fulfills Orders for Video Game E-Tailers

EZGamer.com continued to expand its fulfillment services this week when it signed a licensing and fulfillment agreement with video game developer TalonSoft Inc.

The deal calls for EZGamer to offer customers at its site CD-based versions of TalonSoft's proprietary video games, which are usually available only through downloads online. Additionally, EZGamer will press and package ordered CDs and will arrange for them to be delivered via the U.S. Postal Service. EZGamer also will handle the fulfillment of CD games sold at Talonsoft.com.

EZGamer, New York, earlier signed a similar deal with ZDNet.com, one of the Internet's bigger players in video game marketing.

Robin Warkol, spokeswoman at EZGamer, said the agreements allow the company to expand its online catalog offering while broadening the reach of video game marketers. Furthermore, she said, EZGamer's on-demand CD and fulfillment service saves video game fans the hours they would otherwise spend downloading new games.

“It literally takes about 400 hours to download 30 games,” Warkol said. “In the matter of two to five days, we can have them at your house in CD form, which is nice because you can loan them to your friends.

“We're certainly willing to take on all comers for the back-end services of compact discs or CD-ROMs,” Warkol said.
