Experian launches North American consulting practice

Marketing services firm Experian expanded its Global Consulting Practice, the company’s data and analysis consulting division, to serve clients in the North American market.

The company, which has more than 50 offices worldwide, reported today that consultants from this division will be advising in the following sectors: financial services, banking, retail cards and payments, mortgages, automotive finance, small business, telecommunications, utilities and government.

Stan Oliai, SVP and general manager of Experian’s Global Consulting Practice in North America, will lead the group, which will be based out of Experian’s North American headquarters in Costa Mesa, Calif.

“Today’s business leaders are navigating a challenging and uncertain global economy. To be successful, they must rely more and more on getting actionable advice from a source they trust,” Oliai wrote to Direct Marketing News via email. “It is with this in mind that we established the Global Consulting Practice in North America to strategically partner with our customers to help them reach their business potential.”

The company divided up this practice into three different divisions: business review, strategy design and strategy review. The business review team will work with clients to find opportunities and improve return on investment. The strategy design team will help clients set strategic goals and segment accordingly. The strategy review team will help clients improve and refine existing strategies, the company said in a statement.

“Our customers are looking for tools and information that takes the guesswork out of important business decisions,” Oliai said. “We value the relationship that is built with our customers and the opportunity to engage with them as real business partners that are truly invested in their success.”
