Ex-Glamour Publisher Moves to Conde Nast Media

Conde Nast Media Group has named Suzanne Grimes as vice president in charge of corporate sales, the publishing company said yesterday.

Grimes will take up her new post Aug. 30, reporting to Conde Nast Media Group president Richard Beckman. She was previously vice president and publisher of Conde Nast's Glamour magazine from April 2001 through April 2004

Conde Nast Media Group handles the company's integrated marketing programs and large advertiser buys across multiple media properties.

Before Glamour, Grimes held the vice president and publisher's title at Allure. She also was the founding publisher of Women's Sports and Fitness. Before her move to Conde Nast, Grimes was senior vice president and publisher of TV Guide magazine. She started her publishing career as account manager on The New York Times. A stint as advertising director on the now-defunct Success magazine followed.
