StrongView today named David Frankland as its chief strategy officer, charging him with further developing the email service provider’s mission to be a leading cross-channel marketing company.
Frankland co-launched the customer intelligence practice during his six-year tenure at Forrester Research, where he was VP and research director. Prior to that, he was VP of corporate communications at DoubleClick.
“My career has been all about helping companies recognize where markets are moving and to mobilize to take advantage, and I’m excited to bring those same kinds of insights to StrongView,” said Frankland.
StrongView CEO Bill Wagner said Frankland joins the company at a time in which it plans to lead “a transformation of email marketing.”
