Excalibur Technologies Corp. has released Screening Room Capture, its XML-based video logging system.
The system allows online companies to store video content by extracting visual and textual data from analog and digital video.
SRC was built to work with Excalibur's video management system, Screening Room 2.2. Together, the systems allow the interchange of video assets between e-businesses and media companies.
The systems let a user capture, manage and publish video content. The systems also let any video content owner create a digital archive for the reuse or sale of the material, whether it is to put to the Web, television or another media channel.
In addition, Excalibur, Vienna, VA, said its package of products offers:
• The ability to attach documents and other external files to video files.
• The distribution of multiple digital formats.
• Support for Apple's QuickTime video program.
• Compliance with voice-to-text products offered by other companies.
SRC is available as a stand-alone product or with Screening Room 2.2 and Excalibur's other line of products. Pricing was not made available.
