eWayDirect Inc.’s Debuts Direct/Delivery System

eWayDirect Inc., an e-messaging provider, announced June 6 the launch of Direct/Delivery, a system that the company said allows Internet marketers to execute and track branded e-campaigns.

When a Direct/Delivery campaign is sent, a branded icon located in the recipient’s tool tray blinks to announce a message, and a branded notification slides up on the recipient’s screen to provide additional information about the message.

By clicking on the icon or the branded notification the recipient is taken to a branded message center hosted on Norwalk, CT-based eWayDirect’s servers.

Instead of campaigns ending up in a spam box, a cluttered inbox, or not arriving at all, campaigns are delivered 100 percent of the time, the company said.

There are no privacy issues since customers receive the icons and message notifications only from a company whose service they requested, the company said.

Marketers can track open rates, identify the most popular links, determine unique clickers, compare message versions and drill down to monitor item popularity and spot trends.
