Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper, London, has won the $20 million Credit Suisse Group global branding account.
Four agencies pitched for the business, including two Swiss shops. The final round was narrowed to Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper — which is part of French conglomerate Havas Advertising's Euro RSCG Worldwide arm — and Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, a U.S. agency.
The campaign includes television, print and online advertising designed to increase awareness of Credit Suisse as well as to explain what it stands for.
An international financial services entity, Credit Suisse Group encompasses Credit Suisse First Boston, Credit Suisse Private Banking, Credit Suisse Financial Services and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
The group's previous branding campaign was a small print push in 1997.
