Jamie King, previously president and CEO of Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco, will become co-president of Euro RSCG Chicago with Joy Schwartz, previously executive director of Euro RSCG Chicago. They will report to Ron Bess, CEO of Euro RSCG Chicago and COO of Euro RSCG North America.
King will be responsible for several of the agency’s clients as well as the agency’s business development efforts. Schwartz will also oversee several accounts while continuing to lead the agency’s Citibank business and will play a larger role in managing day-to-day operations.
King started his career at Leo Burnett, where he spent 10 years developing strategic advertising programs for a variety of clients including Altoids, Showtime Networks and Heinz. King later joined LB Works as COO and, in 2005, joined Publicis & Hal Riney in San Francisco as the agency’s managing director with responsibility for business development. In 2007 King was named president and CEO of this agency.
Schwartz joined Euro RSCG in 2003 as VP, account director and was instrumental in both the agency’s Sprint and Citibank wins.
