Software solutions provider E.piphany, San Mateo, CA, and FirePond, Waltham, MA, this week announced a strategic sales and marketing alliance. Through the agreement they will provide mutual customers with a solution that is going to combine the FirePond Application Suite with E.piphany E.4 software.
Companies utilizing the solution will be allowed to extract and analyze relevant data regarding which products or services customers inquire about, configure or purchase. It will also let them know how to click through online buying scenarios.
According to E.piphany, the joint solution will enable companies to go beyond mass marketing and take the guesswork out of product planning by giving corporations the ability to understand and react to customers’ behaviors with products and campaigns best suited to each individual.
