E.piphany, Interelate and Loudcloud said this week that they will combine forces to offer their customers a complete, hosted customer intelligence solution. The three companies hope to accelerate and broaden access to sophisticated customer analysis, data mining and campaign management capabilities.
Under the alliance, E.piphany, San Mateo, CA, will add its customer relationship management solutions to Loudcloud's scalable infrastructure services. Interelate will implement and host the E.piphany applications built and managed within the Loudcloud infrastructure.
E.piphany's flagship product is its E.5 product. This offering unifies inbound and outbound marketing, sales and service interactions using Web-based analytics and operational CRM software. Interelate also will lend its data mining and Web-delivered customer intelligence solutions to the effort.
Together, the three companies offer speed, according to Stephanie Platteter, spokeswoman for Interelate, Minneapolis. “One of the big benefits of this is that each company provides a quick time to market. Loudcloud has their data centers in place. E.piphany is easy to implement, and Interelate can come in and deploy their solutions quickly.”
The Loudcloud relationship offers additional benefits for Interelate, according to Platteter. Loudcloud, Sunnyvale, CA, can deliver high levels of scalability and reliability for a broad base of customers.
“Since we're an [application service provider], we use a hosting service,” Platteter said. “Loudcloud allows us to scale very quickly. They have four data centers and are expanding very quickly into Europe as well. Also, they have what they call their analytics cloud. If one of their current customers wants to do analytics, they would do it through Interelate.”
The announcement was made Aug. 8.
