Epicor to Acquire Analytics Provider QuantiSense

Epicor Software took an important step in its mission to provide omnichannel solutions to large and midsize retail chains by agreeing to acquire QuantiSense, an analytics platform known for its capabilities in consolidating huge volumes of data from disparate systems.

“The acquisition of QuantiSense is a smart choice for Epicor,” said Nikki Baird, managing partner of RSR Research, which follows the retail industry. “This combination promises to help mid-market retailers rapidly turn their Big Data into meaningful and actionable insights.”

Epicor, a long-time provider of systems integration solutions to retailers, looks to expand the omnichannel capabilities of its Retail Solutions Portfolio with the addition of QuantiSense, which provides dashboards, reports, and data models exclusively designed for retail clients including Burlington Coat Factory, Hallmark Cards, Restoration Hardware, and Urban Outfitters.

“QuantiSense has established a world-class customer base with the retail analytics industry’s highest client satisfaction ratings, affirmed by its two consecutive years at number one overall on the RIS Software LeaderBoard,” said Noel Goggin, EVP and GM of Epicor Retail.

Epicor clients include Aeropostale, General Nutrition Centers, and VP Corporation.
