Empowered to Advance

DMN‘s Marketing Hall of Femme is about celebrating the achievements of today’s female marketing leaders: women who have made strides in their careers through audacity, perseverance, savvy, and, occasionally, the advice of outspoken mentors. One reason to honor these outstanding women is to initiate discussions on what it takes for women to succeed in marketing today and advance their careers while benefiting their organizations along the way.

This year we’re starting the conversation in advance of the awards luncheon that fêtes the 2015 Marketing Hall of Femme honorees. Direct Marketing News and global consultancy Mercer are hosting a one-hour tweetchat on how empowering and advancing women within your organization assures its success on Tuesday, April 21, 1 pm EST/10 am PST. We invite you to follow and participate using #MktgFemme.

Join co-hosts Direct Marketing News Editor-in-Chief Ginger Conlon (@customeralchemy) and Mercer CMO and 2015 Marketing Hall of Femme honoree Michelle Bottomley (@MichelleBott) for a thought-provoking tweetchat discussion on how women in marketing and beyond can catapult themselves forward in their careers and how others can ensure the development of the women in their organizations. “As a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement and investments, Mercer is committed to fostering gender diversity,” Bottomley says. “Because when women thrive, societies thrive, economies thrive, businesses thrive.”

Be a part of the conversation to see where success takes your business #WhenWomenThrive. Tweet using #MktgFemme to participate in the hour-long tweetchat: Tuesday, April 21, 1 pm EST/10 am PST.

And then join us in person to celebrate the achievements of the 2015 Marketing Hall of Femme honorees in grand style during a gala luncheon at the Grand Hyatt New York on Friday, April 24.
