Emerson Process Management has licensed Group 1 Software's DataSight data quality software, Group 1 said yesterday.
Organizations can use DataSight to consolidate disparate data to achieve a comprehensive, accurate single customer view for increased sales and marketing effectiveness, according to Group 1.
Emerson Process Management is a worldwide producer of process management products, including control systems and automation software, measurement devices, analytical instrumentation and valves.
DataSight will be used across Emerson Process Management's product lines to enhance the organization's knowledge about partners and customers in its global sales and manufacturing divisions. Emerson is implementing DataSight to validate, correct, match and consolidate customer records from over 70 business units.
In other news, Group 1 announced Friday that it expects to report net income in the range of $1.5 million to $1.8 million for the quarter ended June 30. The company expects to post revenue in the range of $23.6 million to $23.9 million for the period.
Group 1, Lanham, MD, will report its full first quarter results on July 29.
