E-mail marketing technology provider EmailLabs and Web analytics firm Coremetrics are working together to provide Web analytics in e-mail reporting.
EmailLabs, Menlo Park, CA, and Coremetrics, San Mateo, CA, said the partnership will provide seamless data transfer between the companies' applications to give a “holistic view of customer interaction.”
EmailLabs also recently integrated Web analytics from WebSideStory in the 4.0 version of its e-mail marketing solution. And it integrated e-mail reputation firm Habeas' real-time monitoring data directly into its Campaign Reports, letting advertisers view delivery rates of inbox versus bulk folders across the major Internet service providers.
With the Coremetrics partnership, marketers can better measure the effectiveness of various aspects of their campaigns, including e-mail marketing and banner ads, said Ashish Seth, director of products at EmailLabs. Marketers also can track the effectiveness of the campaign, post-campaign.
“How did people respond to it — did they buy or not buy — after e-mails were sent out,” Seth said.
Some EmailLabs clients are using Coremetrics now, via manual transfer feeds, but automatic feeds will be available in about six weeks, Seth said.
