eForce Inc., which specializes in customer relationship management services for e-businesses, expanded its offering recently when it acquired software firm I-Kinetics Inc.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
eForce, Hayward, CA, gains I-Kinetics' e-commerce services in the deal. Those programs include Web design and implementation, fulfillment software, and e-commerce consulting and analysis.
I-Kinetics, formerly headquartered in Burlington, MA, will not keep its brand name. The agreement creates a suite that combines the firms' services under the eForce moniker.
Chris Selland, vice president of e-business strategies at market research firm Yankee Group, Boston, said the move would bolster eForce's global market presence because it will be able to break into new markets such as India.
