E-mail marketing services provider e-Dialog will develop and manage an e-mail newsletter for pharmaceutical company Schering Laboratories, e-Dialog said yesterday. The newsletter will offer news and information to help consumers cope with allergies.
The monthly newsletter will be available for free to consumers who fill out a personal allergy profile developed by Schering Laboratories and available at various allergy-related Web sites. Schering Laboratories, based in Lexington, MA, markets Claritin, a prescription allergy relief medicine.
E-Dialog said it will design the newsletter and track responses. The company plans to provide Schering Laboratories with permission-based data so it can continually update and personalize its user allergy profiles.
The newsletter will include answers to questions about allergies and their treatment. Schering Laboratories said input from newsletter recipients will be used to shape the content of the publication.
