Earle Palmer Brown Acquires DMTG, Opens Manhattan Office

The direct marketing and advertising agency DMTG Inc., New York, has been purchased by The Earle Palmer Brown Cos., a $600 million communications firm with offices in the United States and England.

DMTG was founded in 1988 as the Direct Marketing Training Group by Jane Mortiz who worked previously at Wunderman Cato Johnson, Ogilvy & Mather, Blau & partners and McCann Direct where she was in charge of the San Francisco Direct Marketing Group. DMTG has approximately $12 million in billings and includes clients, Brooklyn Union Gas, the U.S. Mint, Mastercard, Remy Martin and others.

Jane Moritz will add the title of Partner, Earle Palmer Brown. Josh Moritz, DMTG's CEO will become a Brown partner as well.
