E4L, Encino, CA, this month began airing a sequel to its popular Great North American Slimdown infomercial. The announcement comes on the heels of the product reaching the 1 million units-sold mark in December.
“The program will be revamped to coincide with the post-holiday weight-loss season, and we expect an even greater response,” said Bruce Goodman, vice president at E4L.
The new infomercial will highlight a new edition to the program, Slimdown Bars, and feature a new cohost, television news personality Kathleen Sullivan, who joins current spokesman/nutrition expert Larry North. In addition, the infomercial will include a pitch for the company’s Web site, www.buyitnow.com.
