DraftWorldwide, Chicago, last week won direct response assignments for two Searle pharmaceuticals, the sleep disorder drug Ambien and the arthritis medication Arthrotec.
In its work for Searle, Skokie, IL, the agency will target people who suffer from sleeplessness. The program will help consumers identify their problem and urge them to consult a physician. It will involve a toll-free number that consumers may call for information. The general consumer advertising for Searle will be handled by a different agency.
The program for Arthrotec, which eases arthritis pain and prevents stomach ulcers, will include a toll-free number in which consumers can find out if the medication is appropriate for them. Consumers will be able to screen themselves for risk of NSAID-induced ulcers and will be urged to visit their doctors for more information. Draft will handle both the general consumer advertising and the direct response work for Arthrotec.
