Draft Opens Office in Greece

Draft is adding an office in Athens, Greece, the company said yesterday. Draft now has 31 offices in 24 countries.

The agency, Draft Athens, will work with Lowe Athens, a sister agency in the Interpublic Group of Companies and part of the Lowe & Partners Worldwide network. However, Draft Athens will operate as a separate brand.

“Increasingly our clients are looking for through-the-line marketing strategies,” said David Florence, president/chief operating officer of Draft Inc. “Our innovative partnership with Lowe will allow us to provide that to shared clients in Greece as it has in other international markets.”

Thanos Vlachopoulos will head Draft Athens, and Chris Manafas will serve as creative director. Its founding client is Johnson & Johnson.

A unit of Interpublic, Draft ranks as the largest direct and promotions agency in the United States. In March, Lowe and Draft announced plans to align their worldwide operations in an alliance called Lowe + Draft.
