Don’t Let Poor Technology Burst Your Content Marketing Bubble [Infographic]

When it comes to creating a content strategy that pops, marketers often need to chew over not only what kind of content they want to produce, but also how they’re going to distribute it. New data from interactive video platform provider Rapt Media suggests that leveraging the right technology can help.

According to the company’s survey of 500 U.S. marketers and creatives, 94% of respondents say better content technology is essential to creating more personalized and engaging content. Fortunately, the marketers and creatives polled are investing in all kinds of new tools. Marketing automation systems (69%), content distribution platforms (36%), and content creation platforms (17%) are some of the solutions these professionals are investing in today.

However, when it comes to connecting business results to content, many respondents still live in their own little bubble. According to the study, 77% of respondents say linking performance data to content is not important, and 86% say they’re not responsible for the business metrics their content produces.
