DM News has expanded its online presence with a new Classifieds/Job Market section on its revamped site at //www.dmnews.com/.
As part of the service, job openings can be posted at $225 per entry and paid online by credit card. Parties wishing to post a job must register with DM News. After registration, the employer or recruitment firm will find its information repopulated each time it returns to post another job.
The new Classifieds/Job Market service is driven by a template, which lets the classifieds advertiser describe the hiring company, job requirements, location, duration of job and salary range (if desired).
In addition to comprehensive job descriptions, job seekers will be able to respond directly to the prospective employer via a cover letter and attached resume sent directly through DMNews.com.
DM News’ weekly print edition for many years carried the vast majority of classifieds ads in direct, database and Internet marketing. The improved classifieds functionality on DMNews.com will complement the print classifieds, DM News publisher Adrian Courtenay said.
“In today’s market, the online channel offers tremendous efficiencies and economies for classified advertisers and job applicants,” he said.
Mr. Courtenay indicated that the DM News print edition will continue to carry classifieds and help wanted ads, as will the DM News daily newsletter, DMNews-iMarketing News Daily.
A recent check of the Web site traffic ranking service at www.alexa.com showed that DMNews.com is the most heavily trafficked of all major direct marketing sites, including www.the-dma.org, www.directmag.com, www.multichannelmerchant.com and www.btobmagazine.com.
