This year’s group of DMN 40Under40 winners have a few things in common. Well yes, they’re under 40. Also they have a proven track record of marketing excellence and leadership, whether they’re in roles supporting global brands, or leading their own thriving start-ups. Over the next few weeks, you’ll get to know our winners, and what they’ve accomplished.
Tasso Argyros is the Founder and CEO of ActionIQ
What has been your proudest career accomplishment to date?
Last year, ActionIQ raised $30 million in Series B funding, a testament to its broader impact on the industry and marketers’ demand for a solution that unifies and activates the entirety of their customer data in real-time. I’m proud to say we’re already helping brands such as Verizon, WW (formerly Weight Watchers), and HBC grow their customer lifetime value and marketing ROI.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to future 40Under40 honorees?
If you see an opportunity to fix a critical problem or build something great, make it a priority.
What do you hope to accomplish in the next 5 years?
I want to put an end to the irrelevant, uninformed marketing campaigns that consumers have become fed up with and make relevant, real-time customer experiences the norm across all channels, including voice technologies like Alexa and Google Home and addressable TV that are just around the corner.
