The Direct Marketing Association is seeking nominations for its 2007
Hall of Fame, one of the most prestigious honors bestowed on direct
marketing practitioners.
Candidates for the Hall of Fame should have made a major contribution
to the theory or practice of direct marketing. They should also have
helped in advancing direct marketing and given back to the industry,
including the DMA.
The Hall of Fame committee of judges may choose a nominee at its
discretion for significant accomplishments, past or present. Each
year, the committee can award up to four honors in either the living
or posthumous categories.
The deadline for nominations is March 26. The recommendation form and
a list of previous honorees are available at http://www.dmahalloffame.org/.
Founded in 1978, the DMA’s Hall of Fame has inducted 91 individuals.
This year’s induction ceremony will take place during the DMA’s DMA07
Annual Conference & Exhibition on Oct. 13 to 17 in Chicago.
