DMA Releases No-Call List Technology

The Direct Marketing Association debuted software yesterday designed to help telemarketers acquire and manage no-call lists needed to comply with state and federal regulations.

The software, List Acquisition and Management Process or LAMP, assists telemarketers and service-agency clients in keeping up with ever-changing telemarketing regulations, the DMA said. Among its capabilities, LAMP cleans in-house lists against state no-call lists, the upcoming national list and the DMA's own Telephone Preference Service list.

LAMP also tracks list expiration dates and processes updates when available, allows creation of specialized suppression lists and exports suppression information to dialers.

More information about LAMP is available at preference.the-dma.org.
