DMA Insert Media Council Plans Luncheon

The Direct Marketing Association Insert Media Council will hold a luncheon focused on increasing response rates March 15 at the Harvard Club in New York.

The event features a panel discussion, “Lifting Response Rates in Your Insert Media Programs,” moderated by Dan Plunkett, senior vice president of marketing for Singer Direct. Panelists include Joanna Degennaro, assistant director, package enclosures at Bookspan; Peter Mendelson, senior vice president of marketing at Gerber Life; and Steve LePera, media director at Mantis. Topics to be covered:

· How to convert a low- or non-performing program into a profitable source of customer acquisition.

· Dissecting results and creating a “what if” scenario based on different proven criteria used by experts.

· Improving the offer, format, creative and cost per thousand to breathe new life into a dormant or lackluster program.
