DM Services Firm Enhances E-mail Services

Communication Concepts Group Inc. has enhanced its e-mail marketing suite, with the new version allowing companies to send prospects e-mail notifications telling them that the catalog or mail piece they requested is in the mail.

The improved suite allows insurance companies using CCG's database services to send their sales representatives e-mails with printable digital file attachments. The files can contain prospect information that is compliant with each state's insurance regulations.

Clients also can proof art and copy for e-mail and direct mail campaigns at a secured Web site.

“With the e-proofing, there won't be expenses for faxes or mail or paper costs,” said Donald McKenzie, CEO for two of CCG's three operations in Ivyland, PA. “And the service ties into the one-stop shopping experience that we will provide for our customers.”

CCG also announced that it plans to combine sales forces for its five divisions into one group, allowing customers and prospects to place end-to-end direct mail and e-mail marketing service orders. Interested firms will be able to place orders with one of CCG's 45 sales agents or 55 call center workers.

“During the next few months, we'll be working through mechanics and logistics of integration, and we hope to finish the summer with one seamless operation,” McKenzie said.

The divisions include Pacific Communication Concepts Inc., Downey, CA; and Database Marketing Concepts, Bohemia, NY. The other three, based in Ivyland, PA, are Communication Concepts Inc., Marketing Communication Systems Inc. and Mail Guard Concepts Inc.

The divisions will remain in their current locations but will use the same sales and marketing systems.
