DM News Rolls Out New Special Sections for List Vision, Ad:tech

DM News will roll out a series of special sections and supplements in the coming months on matters of special interest to direct, database and Internet marketers.

Coming up on Aug. 1 is a special section on lists tied in with the Direct Marketing Association’s List Vision Day event in New York. The section will include a preview of the issues, trends and topics affecting users, owners and vendors of mailing lists and databases covered at the event.

Please contact senior editor Kristen Bremner at [email protected] for submitting articles.

The issue of Aug. 8 will contain a special section on Web analytics, an area of online marketing that is gaining greater importance with the surge in e-commerce transactions.

Edited by senior editor Mickey Alam Khan, the Web analytics section will comprise research, case studies and articles by experts on how marketers can improve their ROI with the proper use of online analytics. Reach him at [email protected].

This issue will be distributed at the DM News booth at the Search Engine Strategies show in San Jose, CA, on Aug. 8-11 and the DMA•05 annual conference in Atlanta Oct. 15-19 as well the Ad:tech New York show in November.

All articles will be posted online on www.dmnews.com.

Also, a special section on insert media will run in the issue of Sept. 12. The issue will be distributed at the DMA’s Insert Media Day in New York.

This section, handled by Bremner, will include a preview of the issues, trends and developments in the booming insert media field that will be discussed at the event.

Finally, the Nov. 7 issue of DM News will include the Ad:tech New York “Conference Extra” timed with the Ad:tech show.

This polybagged supplement will preview the sessions, exhibitor listings, product and service releases and hot-button issues to be discussed at the online advertising technology show. Articles will also run online on the by-then relaunched DMNews.com site, along with a digital edition.

Alam Khan handles editorial and article submissions for the Ad:tech New York “Conference Extra” issue.
