DM News CEO Adrian Courtenay would not confirm a report (BtoBOnline, June 17) that a deal has been made for his company to buy the DM Days in NY Conference.
“As Lee Epstein said, there have been discussions. But I’m sorry that this got out prematurely,” Courtenay said.
Courtenay indicated that he has always considered DM Days to be “the class act” of DM shows and that it would be a highly desirable acquisition.
“The partners who built this show into a tradition of excellence have taken it to the next level by moving it to the Javits Center,” he said. “It was a gutsy move that will benefit the entire DM community.”
