DM Group Starts Database Unit

Direct marketing services provider DM Group said yesterday that it formed a database marketing unit called Data Insight and Solutions Center to provide its clients with advanced analytical services, customer profiling and data mining.

The new service aims to complement the firm's list planning and creative service offerings, the Upper Marlboro, MD, company said. DM Group also provides strategic management and production services for direct marketers.

“This new group is really a type of data think tank that will be responsible for developing new, innovative and insightful ways to leverage our clients' data,” DM Group partner Robert Salta said in a statement.
