Direct Media Inc. subsidiary directmedia.com yesterday announced its merger with Simon Direct, a card pack and alternative media publisher.
“The sales approach required for selling specialty direct response advertising is a perfect match for the Internet-related products of directmedia.com,” Dave Florence, chairman of directmedia.com, Greenwich, CT, said in a statement.
Founded by Jeff Simon in 1989, Simon Direct was spawned by Direct Media's former card pack division.
The merger will allow directmedia.com to drive online traffic for its clients by publishing card packs and Web guides.
Directmedia.com was formed in February of this year. Its clients include FreeLotto.com, WinFreeStuff.com and CatalogLink.com.
