Direct Media Debuts Reiman Book Buyers Package Insert Program

The Reader’s Association Inc. tapped Direct Media Inc., Greenwich, CT, to manage the newly launched Reiman Book Buyers Package Insert Program from its Reiman Publications unit.

The first insertion will be available in September, according to Direct Media, which also manages Reiman’s magazine and catalog lists. Inserts are distributed in outgoing book shipments in an envelope with other offers.

Annual packages are estimated at 2,355,000 at $60/M.

Reiman , Greendale, WI, produces books on wholesome recipes, how-to-advice and nostalgia. The company is known for its country-oriented magazines, books, tours, cooking schools and catalogs with an emphasis on small-town and rural America.

Titles published by Reiman include “1,029 Backyard Birding Secrets,” “1,628 Country Short Cuts,” “The Best of Birds & Blooms,” “1,112 Down-to-Earth Garden Secrets,” “Family Handyman” and “Ultimate Gardening Guide.”

Reiman also publishes magazines like “Country Woman,” “Farm & Ranch Living,” “Backyard Living,” “Taste of Home,” “Country,” “Country Discoveries” and “Light & Tasty.” The 13 titles have a combined circulation of 1.4 million.

Buyers of Reiman books are interested in products and services that help them to enhance their home- and family-centered lifestyles.
