Digitas' Hendell Takes CEO Spot at MRM

Reuben Hendell, a senior executive at interactive agency Digitas Inc., next month becomes CEO of MRM Partners Worldwide, McCann Worldgroup's direct marketing agency.

He succeeds Pam Maphis Larrick, who becomes worldwide chairman of MRM Partners. Larrick and Hendell will work at MRM Partners' global headquarters in New York.

Hendell previously was executive vice president and relationship leader at Digitas in New York. He was responsible for the agency's Allstate, Best Buy Co. and AT&T Wireless account relationships. He also led the opening of Digitas' offices in San Francisco to serve the Charles Schwab account and one in Chicago to handle Allstate.

MRM Partners has 62 offices in 37 countries. The agency recently won Microsoft business as part of a worldwide CRM account consolidation. U.S. accounts include United Parcel Service and General Motors Corp.'s Buick division. Nestle and L'Oreal Paris are key clients overseas.

MRM Partners' chief operating officer Bill Kolb adds the title of president, which Larrick held. Chief marketing officer Patricia Berns upgrades her executive vice president dual title to vice chairman. And executive vice president Joe McGee — who also heads the New York office — adds the worldwide account director title for Microsoft.
