Express and logistics company DHL said yesterday that it expanded the geographic reach of its Time Definite Delivery service to two Indian cities: Mumbai and New Delhi.
This extends DHL's service to 20 cities in 12 Asia-Pacific countries.
TDD comprises StartDay Express and MidDay Express, offering customers the latest possible collection times for delivery prior to 9 a.m. or noon.
DHL has aggressively pursued growth in India after its $163 million acquisition of Blue Dart Express this year. Through the Blue Dart deal, DHL now can offer customers a complete spectrum of international and domestic express services in one of the world's largest emerging economies.
