Restaurant chain T.G.I. Friday’s Inc. switched advertising agencies last week from McCann-Erickson New York to Deutsch LA Inc. The multimillion-dollar account will cover brand strategy, planning, development and creative execution of integrated marketing for the Dallas-based brand.
DeutschMedia will handle media planning and buying. Deutsch was a finalist with McCann in the last agency selection process, which concluded in 2001. The agency, which last year posted billings of $2.4 billion, starts working on the account immediately.
