Corbis Corp., Seattle, has launched BizPresenter.com, a site that offers design services to businesspeople who have time constraints and limited design expertise.
The images site is aimed at on-the-road professionals who need to create presentations, Web sites or other design-oriented materials. BizPresenter offers 60,000 images that have been presorted in a search engine by subject, idea, industry and other categories.
Corbis, which specializes in offering online photographs, has contributed its collection of exclusive pictures to the selection. The Web site also has aggregated images and programs through agreements with several firms. These include classic cartoons from the New Yorker magazine and design templates from PresentationPro, a division of Interactive Inc., Atlanta.
BizPresenter can be used by PC or Macintosh laptops with 56K modems and requires no special plug-ins, accommodating use in places such as hotels and airports. In addition, the Web site offers services for the printing, binding and next-day delivery of presentation documents.
To promote the site, Corbis is offering up to five free downloads of content from BizPresenter through the end of this month. Corbis said its one-stop service would save on-the-road professionals time that would be spent looking for images and programs on the Web.
