Della Penna to depart Epsilon

Michael Della Penna Epsilon’s former CMO is no longer with the e-mail marketing services firm.

“Epsilon and Michael Della Penna mutually decided that Mr. Della Penna would depart the company to pursue other interests,” said an e-mailed statement. “Mike has been an important part of Epsilon since joining the company after its acquisition of Bigfoot Interactive in late 2005.”

Al DiGuido, former Bigfoot head, who stayed on as CEO of the e-mail unit at Epsilon was fired in 2006.

Steve Cone has taken the new role as CMO.

“We are pleased to have such an experienced and esteemed marketing executive like Steve here and ready to take the lead as we continue our efforts to enhance Epsilon’s brand and further distinguish its market leadership,” said the statement.

Cone previously served at Epsilon, as well as having served as a managing director and head of advertising and brand management at Citigroup Global Wealth Management.
