Andrea Weiss has been appointed president of teen-oriented Internet and catalog retailer Delia's Corp., the company said yesterday.
Weiss, 45, was recently chief stores officer at women's apparel chain The Limited Inc. She replaces Evan Guillemin, who was named chief operating officer at Delia's. Guillemin replaces Estelle DeMuesy, who left the company.
Weiss will oversee the New York company's operating divisions, including dELiA's Direct — which includes Internet and catalog operations — and its retail division.
Weiss resigned from The Limited in January, after Peter Whitford resigned as president/CEO of its Structure men's apparel division.
