Comparison-shopping service DealTime Ltd. has signed a deal with portal Terra Lycos to provide new content and functionality for comparison shopping on Lycos Shop.
As part of the deal, Lycos Shop visitors will have access to products from more than 1,300 merchants through DealTime, New York. Lycos Shop is the U.S. shopping location for Terra Lycos.
Lycos Shop consumers will be able to compare products, prices and stores in categories like computers, jewelry, appliances, toys and electronics.
Terra Lycos gets comparison-shopping technology while DealTime merchants gain access to a worldwide database of shoppers.
DealTime claims to be the leading online search engine, with a U.S. site at www.dealtime.com and a United Kingdom hub at www.dealtime.co.uk. Terra Lycos is a worldwide portal with operations in 43 countries and a total of 103 million unique monthly visitors.
