Database and e-mail marketing firm Datran Media partnered with software giant Microsoft for its e-mail marketing automation StormPost. The aim of the new partnership is to simplify integration for Microsoft.NET customers and round out the existing suite of Datran Media’s .NET-based technology for yield management, life cycle marketing and optimization.
StormPost is an e-mail marketing automation system that lets marketers deliver targeted, optimized and measurable e-mail campaigns.
This comes three months after database marketing services firm Datran Media, New York, acquired e-mail service provider Skylist. The Skylist acquisition followed the trend of database marketing firms investing in e-mail services companies like Merkle, Acxiom, Donnelley, Epsilon, Experian and Harte-Hanks.
