Multichannel data and media provider Datagence Inc. announced Friday its acquisition of multichannel affinity marketing firm Memberdrive.
Memberdrive was founded in 2000 and has a database of 60 million members of its affinity programs, which include nonprofits National Wildlife Federation and Paralyzed Veterans of America, among other membership organizations. The firm's commercial product partners include insurance, education, financial, telecommunications and retail companies.
Memberdrive's services will be available to Datagence's customers in addition to its existing e-mail, postal and telemarketing data and direct marketing services such as local search marketing, media inserts and Internet lead generation.
Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Memberdrive president Steve Horne and chief operating officer Dori Bruno will continue to operate the firm. Formerly located in Fairfax, VA, Memberdrive is now based at Datagence's Red Bank, NJ, headquarters. Datagence operates satellite sales offices in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Baltimore, Houston, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Des Moines, IA.
