DataFlux Corp., an SAS Institute company that provides technology for data cleansing, augmentation and scrubbing, and YellowBrick Solutions, a marketing campaign solutions vendor, established a strategic alliance yesterday to take advantage of cross-marketing opportunities.
The companies said establishing the alliance was a logical move because of their complementary technologies.
YellowBrick software delivers real-time customer data from one or more data sources and allows users to establish logic and business rules to create unique, personalized communications through any channel that can be used in marketing and customer relationship management applications.
DataFlux, on the other hand, delivers out-of-the-box data-cleansing solutions that provide data matching, standardization and analysis applications, allowing users to identify duplicate records, normalize inconsistent data, improve the merging capability of data from dissimilar data sources and identify critical data intelligence issues.
As a key part of this alliance, DataFlux, Cary, NC, and YellowBrick, Morrisville, NC, have agreed to hold workshops to cross-train their sales teams in the use of each other's software systems. This training will allow both companies to identify qualified leads for cross-selling opportunities.
