Data Services Inc. updates International Address Hygiene services

In the past year, Data Services Inc., a supplier of services to international mailers, has enhanced its International Address Hygiene services with updates for 27 countries.

Italy and New Zealand have recently undergone major postal code transitions, and more countries will follow in the near future. Each year, several international countries update their address databases and alter or change their postal coding systems. These changes are necessary in order to maintain address accuracy, ensure the highest degree of efficient deliverability, implement or improve postal discounts for high volume mailers, stay ahead of International mail volume increases and keep delivery costs competitive in the postal arena.

“Staying current with these ongoing changes is absolutely necessary in order to maintain and improve the nonpareil level of quality and service provided for our client’s International list accuracy and mailings,” said Jerry Messer, president/CEO of Salisbury, MD-based Data Services.

DSI’s International List Hygiene service is available online or off line, so direct marketers can benefit from the updates and improve their list accuracy very quickly. These changes apply across many service offerings and also have been incorporated into its international merge/purge, list maintenance, list rental and other related services.

“The bottom line is that the timely implementation of these changes into our systems helps keep our client’s requirements on the cutting edge of international address accuracy, Mr. Messer said.
