A new catalog from Crate and Barrel called CB2 arrived in 1.2 million mailboxes last week featuring modern home furnishings in a range of prices.
CB2 began as a store five years ago in Chicago. Parent company Crate and Barrel is based in Northbrook, IL. CB2's outlets have grown to include another Chicago store and a Web site, cb2.com.
The mailing list for the 67-page premiere issue of the CB2 catalog includes 66,500 names of customers who requested it online or at one of the stores.
Product selection on the Web site includes a light maple nightstand with simple lines for $179, a geometric mirror and shelf unit for $49.95 and a sofa for $999.
