ACS Inc. has won a contract to provide third-party verification services for telecommunications provider Cox Communications, the companies said yesterday.
Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. Third-party verification involves providing recorded confirmation when a customer switches telecommunication providers or orders new services.
Cox will be able to access recordings of conversations ACS agents have with customers by using a Web-based retrieval system.
ACS is a worldwide teleservices agency that employs 30,000 people in 35 countries. Cox is a multi-service communications company that provides cable, broadband and telephone services to 6.2 million customers.
