Country Living Plans Title on Collecting

Hearst Magazines' Country Living, one of the leading shelter titles nationwide, is extending its brand with a special newsstand-only magazine dedicated to collecting.

The annual title, Country Living Collecting, will display on newsstands Aug. 23 through Nov. 21 with a circulation of 400,000. It will focus on antiques and collectibles for experts and novices alike, with tips on what to look for and where and how to live with such items.

Country Living Collecting's first issue is 104 pages. The 16 pages of ads include marketers like Ritz crackers, Sepracor's Lunesta, Riders jeans, New World Pasta, Mohawk, Hunter Douglas and Bayer's Advantix.

Douglas Brenner, former editor-in-chief of Martha Stewart Living and Garden Design Magazine, is editor of the debut issue of Country Living Collecting.

Country Living also has a newsstand-dedicated publication devoted to gardening that is published in the spring and summer.
