Leading digital printer Consolidated Graphics Inc. has signed a letter of intent to acquire printing and technology company Global Group Inc.
Fort Worth, TX-based Global Group, was founded in 1971. It offers sheetfed, Web and digital printing services, as well as direct mail, creative design, desktop publishing, media asset management, technical writing, finishing and fulfillment.
Jim Wolf, Global Group’s founder/president/CEO, will remain with the company following the completion of the transaction, which is expected before Sept. 30.
Houston-based Consolidated Graphics, www.cgx.com, has a presence in 26 states. It offers a growing range of digital and Internet based services through CGXSolutions.
